Slobbies

In a contaminated room, Robbie runs into a group of apparently happy Slobbies. Their faces illuminate the surroundings with green and pink glows.

They all look so happy. But I can’t help but think something is wrong here…

I’ve always seen the vent things on the sides as eyes, the stalks as ears. Happy eyes in front feel a bit redundant.
